Good to have you here.

Whether by recommendation or through my name - I support design and web projects for companies, teams and freelancers who need reinforcement.

When things get bigger

You have a big project and need someone to plan it, steer it and think it through with you? I take on the lead and the responsibility, on my own or as a steady hand in your team.

When things get stuck

A project has stalled or is about to tip over? I step in, bring back order and get the whole thing on course again.

For the long run

Many clients stay for years. I think along, stay reachable and grow with your projects - reliably, well beyond launch.

Experience you can build on.

For more than fourteen years I have planned, steered and delivered projects, solo and in teams. Big ventures are where I'm at home: I work with you conceptually on the idea, keep the overview, organise the workflow and take the lead when it's needed. Here you don't face a rotating team, I'm your steady point of contact, and I genuinely enjoy it.

Case studies

You don't have to read through all of this.

Whatever stays open, we sort out best in a conversation, just give me a call: +49 89 21539726

How does the design process work?

We start with a conversation where I get what it's about and what you need. Then I sketch first directions, and we look at them together. From what convinces you, I develop the design over several rounds, until it fits.

Should I get involved?

No worries, you don't need to understand design. I need your knowledge about your topic, that's where you're the expert, and your feedback at a few points. The rest I take off your hands and accompany you through the process.

How long does it take?

It depends on the project. A logo is done faster than a whole website. After our first conversation I give you a realistic timeframe and keep you posted along the way, instead of leaving you guessing.

Do you work alone?

Essentially yes, you have me as your fixed contact throughout, no rotating team. A steady part-time assistant supports me behind the scenes, and where it makes sense (copy, photography, development) I bring in trusted people I've worked with for years. But the threads always stay with me.

Do you also work for competitors?

In a long-term collaboration I'll keep your project exclusive if you wish and won't take anyone on from your field. It's a matter of agreement and mutual trust.

What about confidentiality?

Everything you share with me stays between us. Ideas, documents, internals, I treat them confidentially and am happy to sign an NDA on request.

What about the rights to the design?

Once the project is finished and paid, the usage rights to the final work pass to you, you can use it freely for your purposes. The copyright itself stays with me; that's the legal default and changes nothing for you day to day. What exactly is included in the scope, such as open working files, we set out clearly in advance, so there are no surprises.

Which systems do you design for?

For all of them, WordPress, a website builder or an existing system. But I prefer working freely, independent of any system and without a template corset. That way you get exactly what fits you, not just what a builder happens to allow.

Can I maintain the website myself after it's built?

Yes. I build the site so you can update content yourself, and I show you how. And if you'd rather keep your head free, I stay on as your fixed contact and handle the upkeep, whatever you prefer.

What do you need from me to get started?

First of all you and your topic. To get going it helps to have a rough goal, any existing material like a logo, copy or images if there is any, and an idea of who we want to reach. If something's missing, that's no problem, we work it out together.

How many revision rounds are included?

Enough for it to truly fit. I plan in fixed rounds and tell you upfront how many are included. If it takes more in a particular case, we talk about it openly before anything costs extra, no hidden items.

What if I don't like a direction?

Then we don't pursue it. That's exactly why I show first directions early, before a lot of time goes into them. You say honestly what fits and what doesn't, and I take the track that convinces you, nothing gets pushed through over your head.

Do you work with deposits?

On bigger projects, yes. I like to work in a 30/30/30/10 mode: 30% at the start, 30% after the design is approved, 30% once all the work is finished, and the final 10% after the joint testing phase. That keeps it predictable for both of us.

Let's talk.

Ideally nice and simple, in a video call. Tell me what is coming up, and we will calmly work out how I can best support you.
