Joomla!, in the best of hands

Some websites aren’t business cards but systems: many languages, many permissions, many extensions, content grown over years. That’s exactly what this team of two experts is for: I cover design and UX, Benjamin the development. Together we relaunch even highly complex Joomla! sites and move them safely to current versions.

What you can count on

Design & accessibility

Concept, design and accessibility come from me: thought through down to the last interaction, BFSG-proof, with one dedicated contact.

Knowledge from the core

Development is in the hands of someone who doesn’t just use Joomla! but builds it: Benjamin, on board since Joomla! 1.0, release lead of Joomla! 4.1, today team lead of the maintenance team.

Short paths into the community

When an extension gets stuck, Benjamin often knows the developers behind it personally.

Who’s behind it

Behind this page you have two dedicated points of contact. I have been designing brands and websites since 2011 and see projects through from first sketch to launch – concept, UX, accessibility; many clients have stayed for over 14 years. Benjamin co-built core features like Joomla!’s multilingual system and serves on the Security Strike Team. For you this means short paths and first-hand answers. What we take on together

Accessible relaunch

Complex Joomla! sites get a contemporary, accessible design without losing structure or content.

Migration to current versions

Even from very old Joomla! installations: orderly, without data loss and without breaking your rankings.

Support afterwards

Updates, security and further development so the site stays stable for the long run, just as you know it from me.

Frequently asked questions about Joomla!

Our site still runs on Joomla! 3. Can it still be saved?

Yes. Cases like this are our everyday work: we bring old installations onto a current version in an orderly way, content and rankings included. The older the installation, the more important a planned path is over a quick cut.

What happens to our extensions?

We check every single one: many can come along, some we replace with something better. And where things get stuck, we talk directly to the developers, those paths are short for us.

Why stay with Joomla! instead of switching?

Because switching systems is often more expensive than a good relaunch, and Joomla! is excellently built for multilingual sites with complex permissions. If switching really is the more honest answer, we’ll tell you that too.

Will the site be accessible?

Yes, built in from the start, in design and technology together. That’s good for all users and increasingly a legal requirement.

Running a Joomla! nobody wants to touch anymore?

Then let’s look at it as a team, ideally with Benjamin and me together in a video call.
