Web design from Munich, accessible by design

I accompany companies through their web projects for the long run, as a steady point of contact who thinks ahead, takes responsibility and stays by your side well after launch. For me, accessibility is part of that from the start, not an add-on but a foundation.

What you can count on

Complexity is welcome

I like projects with depth, the ones where experience and good instincts truly make a difference.

Built for the long run

I stay by your side, even after launch. A good website is allowed to grow, and I am happy to grow with it.

With heart

I look after your project as if it were my own, and take responsibility, on my own or within a team.

Experience

I’ve been building websites for more than fourteen years, most of them from the ground up; I plan and steer my projects myself.

Accessible web design is my focus within that, because I’ve built websites together with blind and visually impaired people and seen what looks fine on paper yet still fails in actual use. WCAG and BFSG have been part of my everyday work ever since. You’ll find an accessible version of this site here too – just hit the switch at the top.

Digital accessibility, briefly explained

2:35 min · The video only loads once you press play.

How we work together

  1. First contact

You write to me, a few sentences about your idea are plenty.

  2. Getting to know each other on a video call

We get to know each other via video call. That saves us both the journey and gives us more time for each other.

  3. Concept & quote

You get a clear concept and an honest, transparent quote, with accessibility planned in from the start.

  4. Building it together

I build your project and keep the overview, carefully, reliably, in a team too, and tested with keyboard and screen reader.

  5. And after that?

I stay by your side. Good things take time, and so does trust.

Often required since 2025: the BFSG

With the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG), since 28 June 2025 many consumer-facing digital offerings must be accessible, from web shop to online appointment booking. Micro-enterprises offering services are exempt, but benefit just as much. But honestly, the law is the weakest argument. An accessible site simply reaches more people, loads faster and is nicer for everyone. The duty is just the occasion to do the right thing.

10 %essential
30 %necessary
100 %helpful

A rule of thumb from Aktion Mensch sums it up: for about 10 % of people accessibility is essential, for 30 % necessary, and for 100 % simply nicer.

And the logo to match?

A website is only as clear as the brand behind it. That’s exactly where I started: with logo design, with the question of how to distil a whole attitude into a single mark. From there I was drawn step by step into web design. If your presence needs a mark that truly fits you, I’ll design it right along with it, from one source, with the same feel for what you do.

Tell me about your project.

Ideally nice and simple, in a video call. I take my time, I listen, and together we see whether we are a good match.
