Ein gutes Design erzählt Geschichten.

Eine Marke ist mehr als ein Zeichen, denn sie ist die Art — wie jemand gesehen werden möchte. Bevor ich ihr also eine Gestalt gebe, muss ich verstehen, wovon die Geschichte erzählt; den Menschen dahinter. Ich höre zu, bevor ich anfange zu gestalten & das ist wichtig, um alle Facetten greifen zu können und gut zu designen. Das ist mehr als Gestaltung, es ist eine Beziehung zum Unternehmen, dem Produkt oder den Menschen dahinter. Das, was sich der Unternehmer auch für sein Unternehmen wünscht. Es geht nicht um einmalige Verkäufe, es geht um diejenigen, die den Weg mit uns gehen und uns treu bleiben, über längere Zeit.
A brand is more than a mark — it’s the way someone wants to be seen. So before I give it a shape, I need to understand what the story is about; the people behind it. I listen before I start designing & that matters, because it’s the only way to grasp every facet and design well. This is more than design — it’s a relationship with the company, the product, the people behind it. The very thing a founder wishes for their business. It’s not about one-off sales; it’s about the ones who walk the road with us and stay loyal, over the long run.

Also bleibe ich bei ausgewählten Projekten – arbeite mich tief ins jeweilige Fachgebiet ein & so wird aus einem einmaligen Projekt auch oft eine Verbindung, die lange anhält. Mit vielen meiner frühen Kunden gehe ich den Weg noch immer, seit über 10 Jahren – gerade mit denen, die gewachsen sind. Genau das liebe ich an meinem Beruf.
So I stick to selected projects – I dig deep into each field & that’s how a one-off project often turns into a connection that lasts. With many of my early clients I’m still walking the road today, after more than 10 years – especially with the ones who have grown. That’s exactly what I love about my work.

Gestaltung ist dabei nur die halbe Geschichte. Und darin unterscheide ich mich von vielen: Ich plane und steuere auch große Projekte und arbeite mit dir konzeptionell an der Idee dahinter – mit Struktur, Überblick und einer festen Hand. Projektleitung und Verantwortung sind kein Nebenprodukt, sondern Teil dessen, was ich tue.
And design is only half the story. And that’s where I differ from many: I also plan and steer large projects and work with you conceptually on the idea behind it all – with structure, an overview and a steady hand. Project leadership and responsibility aren’t a by-product; they’re part of what I do.

Privat
Privat liebe ich Kryptowährungen, Philosophie und Psychologie, Mittelalter und Geschichte, dazu epische, laute Musik – am liebsten Rock. Ich lerne Latein, zeichne gern und trage ständig Tagträume und kleine Geschichten im Kopf mit mir herum. Ich bin kreativ und freidenkend, sprenge gern mal die Fesseln und denke mutig quer. Ich entdecke das Schöne im Alltäglichen, habe Spaß an Ironie und an Ebenen, die sich hinter Ebenen verstecken. Neurodivergenz und andere Denkweisen faszinieren mich – ich finde es spannend, andere Menschen in ihrer Art entdecken zu dürfen. Genau diese Neugier fließt in meine Arbeit. Für meine Kunden – oft mittelständische Unternehmen – behalte ich dabei immer ihr Ziel im Blick: Wenn es darauf ankommt, gehe ich in meinen rationalen Modus, denke schnell, halte Workflows schlank und steuere ihr Projekt geradlinig in den Hafen.
Off the clock I love crypto, philosophy and psychology, the Middle Ages and history, plus epic, loud music – rock above all. I’m learning Latin, enjoy drawing and always carry daydreams and little stories around in my head. I’m creative and free-thinking, happy to break the chains now and then and think boldly. I love finding beauty in the everyday, the fun in irony and the layers that hide behind layers. Neurodivergence and different ways of thinking fascinate me – I find it exciting to get to discover other people in their own nature. That same curiosity flows into my work. For my clients – often mid-sized companies – I always keep their goal in sight: when it matters, I switch into my rational mode, think fast, keep workflows lean and steer their project straight into harbour.
