Sascha Lang macht Medien für Inklusion, und lebt sie. Für igelmedia brauchte es einen Webauftritt, der das nicht nur behauptet, sondern es ist: bedienbar mit Tastatur und Screenreader, gut lesbar, klar im Aufbau. Barrierefreiheit war hier kein Häkchen am Ende, sondern der Ausgangspunkt.
Sascha Lang makes media for inclusion, and lives it. igelmedia needed a website that doesn't just claim to be inclusive but actually is: usable with keyboard and screen reader, easy to read, clearly structured. Here, accessibility wasn't a box to tick at the end, it was the starting point.

Ich habe von der ersten Skizze an mit den Anforderungen gestaltet, statt sie hinterher draufzulegen: genug Kontrast, eine sinnvolle Lese- und Tab-Reihenfolge, sichtbare Fokuszustände, sauber beschriftete Elemente. Schön und zugänglich sind kein Widerspruch, beides gehört zusammen.
From the very first sketch, I designed around the requirements rather than bolting them on afterwards: enough contrast, a sensible reading and tab order, visible focus states, properly labelled elements. Beautiful and accessible aren't opposites, they belong together.
